Lovely to hear from you. Did you manage to find some other freebies to apply for? You can ask questions in the thread about where something came from, everyone who has written something will receive an e-mail and someone will know where the freebie came from.
Regarding reviewing, what do you need help with? I have found some general help I offered another member, but I think the content will be relevant to you and will get you started.

I remember I found things a bit confusing at the start. The site is intricate. I think what has helped are the menus at the bottom of the page, they link to the main places and it's worth exploring them when you have time. That way you will get to know the ones you think you might use. Explore your profile page too, it links to things you have done and who has visited your profile (probably me!).
Latest Listings is good for finding something you can review, to boost your activity. When I am looking for something I use I keep it really simple and click 'Products' next to 'Home' and do a search for the brand or a word in the name of the product. I only ever use the search box under the alphabet. I don't bother with anything more complicated than that. I find this is the quickest easiest way. You might find that method helpful.
One of my favourites is 'Most Active Reviewers' as it gives a ranking. You can see how many reviews you need to do to move up one place. It is motivating and helps you get selected for trials if you keep doing reviews. I find little steps are best for me. I know I need to do a certain number of reviews to overtake the person ahead of me. Look at this link:

To find something specific in the forum I use the search in the 'Forum' menu in the same way. Clicking the banner always takes you to the relevant page to leave comments for trials etc.
I will copy the content of this onto your wall so you can find it easily in the future if you want to refer to these tips. The best thing is to make sure you do a few reviews every month, and make sure they have some detail. That way you will get selected regularly.
I hope you will begin to find the site easier to use. Pop into the forum some time, the regular members are really nice and friendly. They will share where to find bargains with you and discuss what they thought.
