I tried this first instore on the back of my hand, which was very good, but then the skin on the hands aren't as sensitive as the facial area. I dampened my face, then gather some Ocean Salt with my fingers and applied. This got a little messy, I would recommend after dampening yur face, drying your hands, this gives a better control of the scrub, if they are wet then the scrub kinda goes everywhere, and starts to slip off. So you aren't getting as an effective exfoliation on your face. Plus if some of the Ocean salt does go over the mouth area, be perpared for a rather strong dose and taste of salt!! The product does smell really fresh and limey...this tends to make you forget their is a large concentrate of sea salt within. After rinsing, all the scrub was easily removed, the drying, my skin did feel alittle tingly and tight...but after a few minutes it softened..skin felt nice and smooth..moisturising felt much better. I would use this about once/twice aweek to keep skin fresh.
This does lather a little but is really a really uplifting and bracing scrub. I do find that some of the salty bits can be a bit large and harsh so sometimes I crush the scrub a bit with a pestle and mortar to crush the salt bits a bit more so they are not so scratchy.
The smell is great and even though it tastes a bit soapy it is very much like a tequila cocktail to taste !!I got a bit in my mouth when wiping my face with my hand once!
