The Star Face Moisturiser was created to nourish and protect your skin against the damaging effect of sun and pollution, so that your skin stays soft, healthy and wrinkle free. This moisturiser is made with olive, avocado and apricot kernel oils, which are natural sunblocks and packed with vitamins and antioxidants.
The delicious scent of Star Face Moisturiser comes from organic lavender and rose geranium essential oils. They also improve circulation as well as balance the skin’s oil production. Made with natural ingredients. That means no synthetic fragrances, silicones, mineral oils or nasty preservatives.
Rub one pump of moisturiser on face and neck but avoid eye area. Don’t use on broken skin.
Water, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate (Emulsifier), Glycerin, Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate (preservative), Vitamin E, Lavender Oil, Rose Geranium Oil.
The scent is too overwhelming for me to use on my face.
The design of the packaging is really great and the pump is fantastic. This did moisturise my dry skin well. However, the lavender (and other oils) was just too strong in the mix. I found it too much when applying to my face (perhaps it was fine for a body moisturiser). I do appreciate that it doesn't have any nasties in it and all the oils will be doing my skin good.
- Really helps dry skin
- The pump
- Natural ingridients
- No parabens
- Lack of information on packaging
- Strong smell
- Rich texture
I was extremely excited to be chosen to test this product, because I loved the name and the fact that they use natural ingridients, but I was a little bit dissappointed.
I thought that the packaging looked unfinished and did not provide as much information as other brands do.
Also, the texture was too rich to use during day time and the smell was not very pleasant.
The price of £12.50 also seems a bit steep for the size of the product.
-Attractive neat packaging
-Outstanding moisturising and nourishing qualities
-No parabens, almost 100% natural
-Sun and pollution protection features
a bit sharp scent
I was lucky enough to get this moisturizer to try it out. Though I thought this cream wouldn't fit me very much considering that it's marked as for normal skin I was greatly surprised on finding that this remarkable product really meets my dry skin needs. Firstly the cream has a very delicate soft texture and it's pleasure to use it . Secondly it feels really moisturizing and nourishing dehydrated skin. It absorbs rapidly enough but as if warms your skin but not cools. The great bonus is that the cream has no parabens and made with natural ingredients only and you really can feel it while using it. However the scent is a bit sharp for me , it's not fresh and looks like men's perfume scent . Overall I'm greatly impressed with the product and of course I'd like to purchase in future as it's reasonably priced. I would naturally recommend!
Only point of negativity, for me, would be, that it's rich texture is more suited to night use than day.
This moisturiser has a great style in its packaging, its quirky, very 1960's in its design.
The pump action is great, much easier to use once you get used to how little pressure is needed to dispense the amount required, also no fingers in pot. The cream has a nice texture, rich and substantial, some can look rich, but infact breakdown easily into a weak watery consistancy, this one did not. It stayed rich and applied like a lush cream, you could feel your skin absorbing the goodness. It does take sometime to fully absorb, so due to this I began applying as a night cream and it felt much better, as I didnt get anxious for it to disappear. The scent of this cream is delicate and soothing, I love rose so for me the scent was a pleasure. Overall, this moisturiser is s great find as I trialled it for a month,I found it to be excellant value. Its definitely a Star.....
