BareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara Hot

I bought this in search for a new mascara and I have to say, compared to the other BareMinerals mascara, this wasn't that great.
The brush was an odd shape and I found it hard getting loads of the product on my lashes.
I had to use several coats to get a thickening effect.
Price isn't worth it, cheaper better alternatives, even in BareMineral range.
Wouldn't recommend in all honestly.

I have stuck with the product for quite a while and repurchased a couple of times. The brown smells like chocolate (although you definitely know when the product has gone off). Normal, more nastie-filled products definitely smell a little more synthetic and toxic. So for a product that you apply so close to your eyes, this one appeals more.
The brush is a fattish nylon one, that does a good job of separating and defining. It works well with curled lashes.
It's by no means waterproof but smudges to a level I can cope with.
The last black I bought was really poor quality though, so I wasn't too impressed with that. The brown I bought at the same time was the usual high quality, so I feel it is possible to buy a dud here. Which is frustrating when you consider how hard it is to drop by a Bare Minerals stand just to pick up a product (there's a lot of standing around whilst they do makeovers, come on Bare Minerals, have an express queue! Make sure staff are able to serve customers, who just want to pop in to repurchase a trusted product. It feels like once they've lured you in, they don't care about your customer experience.)
