Can be hard to use,
Doesnt last long,
Can be streaky,
Very time consuming,
I really liked the idea of this as id heard good things about it and saw how people raved about it.
When i first tried it i found it wasnt so easy to get a nice application when it came to the cheeks. I find that the brush applicator can cause streaks on the skin which stands out and makes it very hard to blend it in.
What i find is the best way for me to use it as a cheek tint is to dab dots of the tint onto my cheeks in small area and quickly start blending it out by tapping my finger over it. Then work like that until i get the results i want. Best to work one cheek at a time and work quickly.
When it comes to my lips i prefer to use it on top of a lip balm or even Dr PawPaw Original Balm to prevent the stains on my lips.
This product just isn't for me i feel its very tedious and too much faffing around.
I'm not quite sure why so many people have had issues with this product, if you follow the instructions which are very simple, its easy.
Wonderful high quality product that doesn't dry the lips in the same way as some other similar tints on the market.
The packaging is cute but I do worry about the bottle breaking if I carry it around with me.
This is the first and best tint I used. I love benefits other tints too, but this colour is great for anyone who has never tried this kind of product or this brand before, it would suit so many different skin types, its easy to use, and its beautifully packaged, all that and it actually works! It lasts, and it looks like you have naturally lovely colour kissed lips and cheeks.
The best way to apply it is to take a small amount and dab it onto your lips and rub it into the lip following their natural shape. Use a small amount to begin with so that you can have a very natural look that fills out the lip as well as colouring it, then if you want a darker colour just repeat the process.
Applying this to the cheeks you have to work quite quickly, its recommended by benefit that you use three small slightly diagonal stripes wherever you want your blush, then gently rub to blend. Personally I like to do one cheek at a time because if you do the small stripes on one side and then on the other before rubbing it in, it can leave the look of the stripes.
Brush applicator, liquid product, expensive, not long lasting on lips.
This product is very liquid and comes with a brush applicator. It is easy to apply to lips but the fine brush makes it tricky to apply to cheeks effectively. The colour is very strong and the amount of product distributed by the nail varnish-type brush makes it difficult to regulate the quantity of product applied to the cheek, making it a very nerve racking exercise. The intensity of the colour does not allow the user to 'build' the colour subtly.
On the lips, this product does tint instantly, but does not provide any moisturisation and wears away very quickly.
