I decided to try this mostly because I was fed up with not being able to find a liquid foundation that matched my skin tone. I was a little wary as this was pricy and I don't have a stockist anywhere near me so had to cross my fingers and order online, which was gonna be an expensive mistake if I got it wrong. Luckily I found my match in Siberia =) And when I compare this shade to the palest shades in the highstreet ranges the difference is astonishing. It took me a while, but at least I found my match =)
As for the foundation itself I find it to be fairly sheer though it is buildable (not something I do though, I'm not looking for full coverage) but it doesn't give a shiny or shimmery finish (thankfully). Once blended you can't tell it's there and it just evens out my skin a little, which is exactly what I look for in a foundation.
My main problem with this is the packaging. I love the matt black Nars use and the bottle looks lovely. However I'm too lazy to wipe it down after very use and pretty quickly it gets covered in foundation and looks a mess. But other than that the main problem is I have to pour it out on the back of my hand. Which has resulted in me wasting quite a lot, not exactly ideal with a pricier foundation like this one. I'd be so much happier with a pump on the bottle like a lot of liquid foundations. But honestly, that's not gonna stop me repurchasing this at all as the foundation itself is perfect and exactly what I've always looked for, and now that I've found it I don't have any need to look elsewhere.
Despite the name this is not a sheer glowy foundation. It's a medium natural coverage that has a satin but not shiny finish. As its a high end foundation, the price is expected. Definitely worth it
