Why class it as foam when it turns to liquid??

User Reviews

Strongest points
Light texture and coverage. Attractive pump action can
Weakest points
Barely there coverage. Dries too quickly. Inferior action pump which dispenses too much product
Summary
I was very excited to try this new foundation by Maybelline but have been left very disappointed and out of pocket. I was seduced by the Airfoam consistency of this product as I do not like heavy textured foundations. On first impressions the can is attractive and had a pump nozzle for supposed easy dispense but this is where the product began to fail. I pressed the nozzle to dispense the foam and a huge amount of product came out, which of course was immediately wasted. I tried again with a light press and managed to get a better amount but it was still too much for one application. The foundation is a light foam at first and then within seconds it started to break down into a watery liquid? This is problem no.2. When applied to the face it dries very quickly and I could not blend it evenly. The coverage is very low and after two hours my skin felt slightly greasy. Sadly I thought this new foundation was a bit pointless. Why class it as a foam when it rapidly turns to liquid? This may suit young skins better but for me it was a huge disappointment
