Summary
I have this 2 Couleurs compact in ‘Smokey Violet’ and although it is certainly very expensive I adore it! Helped by a discount code I was able to purchase this for less than the usual retail price. I have read reviews about other shades in this palette being weak in pigment but the colours in this combination are stunning! The palette has one base shade of a pale pink satin with two iridescent shimmer shades of violet and plum. The plum is a gorgeous rainbow shimmer which can be layered for an intense colour. Used wet as an eyeliner the colour is striking and beautiful. The shadows are soft and easy o apply with a choice of either the sponge or brush applicators included in the palette. I ma in agreement that the pigment is not the strongest I have used but it like this fact as you can choose between a subtle look or intensify it with layering if you wish. The powder doe not settle into fine lines and stays put well throughout the day. My favourite part is the innovative palette which has a semi holographic CD insignia behind the surface Dior stamp. The lid slides open with a similar method to a slide mobile and immediately a decent sized mirror pops up from inside. To close again, simply slide shut. This is a high quality product both in packaging and content

Summary
not a bad trio of colours, you need to use lots to get a strong colour but did last for a while. the compact was nice but the eyeshadow wasnt worth the huge price tag

Summary
I tested this at the counter when looking for a new eye shadow set and I must say I was not impressed really.
The colours are not exactly the best and I felt they did not leave a thick enough layer and you need a few layers to get a vivid colour.
All in all, not the best out there, certainly not for the price anyway!

I love the colours of this eyeshadow but when applied i felt they looked a little dry but it did stay put all day
really expensive for an average eyeshadow in my opinion
would not recommend because i feel there are better and cheaper eyeshadows on the market
