I'm a regular user of the Kerastase brand and normally opt for the green bottled Volum Active shampoo. So I was interested to see what the Bain Satin Shampoo would be like on my hair. I am sure I have tried it a while ago. As expected the shampoo got straight to work on my dry, coloured hair leaving it soft, shiny and manageable. The fragrance was rather nice too.
The only negative point I guess would be the price. The Kerastase products are more expensive than others but I have found a little goes a very long way. One bottle can last me up to 3 months!
So whether you buy this product regularly or as a treat, I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
Kerastase has a well deserved reputation and you can see why when you use their hair care products. My slightly coarse, dry, coloured hair responds well to the Bain Satin. I especially like the conditioner that goes with it. However, the price (for me) makes it a treat purchase, rather than a regular use product. You can get comparable shampoos and conditioners that are much more affordable.
Hard to say whether or not I recommend but considering it is not organic natural ingredients I think it is very expensive for what it is and it didn't really do anything special. It was pleasant to use, iy cleaned my hair and smelled pleasant. I don't mind paying a bit more for natural eco friendly shampoo but I didn't think this did anything to merit the price tag.
I've given this shampoo a 'yes' recommendation for effectiveness, but it is much too expensive! However, prices differ quite a bit, and you can sometimes find this product for around £12.00.
