As I have got older my hair has become more brittle. I have found using this every other week has improved the strength of may hair and the texture.
A nice silky texture which lathers well. Easy to rinse out and doesn't leave any residue.
After just one use my hair looked fuller, healthy and shiny. After using for some time now my hairdresser has noticed a difference and said my hair is stronger and in better condition.
Not tested on animals
None in my opinion
If your hair is damaged or weak then it is worth giving this a go. It may seem a bit more expensive than your average shampoo but you don't need to use very much and it works.
Helps restore hair to a stronger, healthier state
Revives vigour, leaves hair feeling soft, lathers well, natural product, not tested on animals.
I received a sample of this product but it wasn't for a my hair concerns. However I thought I would try the product as I wanted to try the Aveda brand.
The shampoo has a translucent beige color and a good viscosity which is similar to the types of shampoo I generally use on my long, dry, curly hair. The texture of the product felt nourishing on my hands and I found that it generated a good lather. The fragrance of the product is not unpleasant with a faintly minty combined with herbal aroma. I found it hard to put my finger on any one particular fragrance. It was an unusual fragrance, but not unpleasant. The cleansing properties are excellent. The 10 ml sample could possibly have lasted for two washes, but I had already squeezed a generous handful from the tube so I gave my hair a second lathering which I didn't feel it needed as the hair already felt thoroughly cleansed after the first shampoo. I noticed that my hair felt instantly thicker and I wasn't able to pull my fingers through it without the application of conditioner, which is a very unusual effect following shampooing my hair! I wasn't able to remove loose hair at all at this stage of washing.
After conditioning and drying I noticed later in the day that my hair had renewed bounce in the curls and that they were more defined than usual although I had changed none of the other products I applied from my usual routine other than swapping Invati shampoo and conditioner for my usual brand. The next morning my hair still has the bounce and body in the curls and increased softness. This may be an expensive product and not for my hair concern, but I feel it has improved my hair results and I would be tempted to use it regularly.
I received 2 small tube samples of Aveda Invati shampoo & conditioner which are recommended for fragile/thin hair. I have very thick hair so Invati isn't really suited to my hair type, but I thought I'd give the samples a go. Both the shampoo & conditioner have a thickening effect - after using, I struggled to get a brush through my hair. Highly recommended for thinner hair types!
A medicinal scent that's not unpleasant. The shampoo has a caramel colour with a silky consistency. Easy to massage through the hair, and rinses out easily. Great cleansing power, and leaves the hair looking shiny.
A good quality shampoo that thickens the hair and leaves it looking healthy and shiny.
I received a sample of the exfoliating shampoo and really liked the results. A little certainly goes along way as it lathered very well leaving my hair smooth, soft and easy to brush. When my hair had dried (naturally), it looked wonderful. It had a good shine and felt incredible soft to touch.
My only criticism would have to be the price. I guess the old adage: 'you get what you pay for', is certainly true in this case.
