I recently bought a small travel sized kit of 5 Macadamia products and this was one of them. The bottle is a 30ml and doesn't have the pump like the larger bottle but instead you need to pour a little on to fingertips instead. If you're not careful you can easily pour way too much but you should be fine as long as you're paying attention ^^
I have used this on wet hair though it is something I do now try and avoid as I have several products I apply to my hair before drying and when it's wet I feel it's a little easier to over-do it and not realise until you dry your hair and then see that too-much-product look. It is meant to cut drying time, though I didn't notice much/if any of a difference in the dry time when I used this on wet hair.
When I use this on dry hair I pour a tiny (and I do mean tiny) amount to my finger tips and then rub in my hands to warm it up. I then apply to the hair starting at the ends and underneath my hair. That way any excess product is either on the driest part of my hair or underneath. I gradually work my way up until I have practically none left on my hair before lightly moving my hands on top of my hair to smooth down any flyaways. I have long hair (maybe an inch or so below the bottom of my bra) and it has very dry damaged ends and yet I only need literally one drop of this. Maybe a pea sized amount?
It definitely adds some extra shine and helps tame the flyaways, however I find my ends still can get a bit knotty by the end of the day. Not noticeably so perhaps, but when I run my fingers through my hair I can definitely feel it, which is not a problem I have with my usual oil, however this one is slightly cheaper.
If you're new to hair oils this may be a good place to start, or if you're looking for a cheaper oil this could be a good alternative. However when I finish this I know I won't be repurchasing and will instead be going back to my usual hair oil.
I recieved a large sample bottle of this and was not sure at first what to do with it.
I thought it would be really oily but upon trying a little bit i was really impressed.
It is a nice consistancy not too runny and a caramel brown colour.
The scent is amzing,i thought it would smell nutty but it actually smells quite like a perfume and is amazing.
I applied a little to my palms and scrunched it into my curls,it made them look really defined glossy and frizz free.
I love this product,it is not only natural but really works to leave hair feeling and looking unbelievably soft and shiny.
A great hair care product that i would highly recommend :)
More results from a teaspoon of oil than a whole standard hair care routine!
