Launched in September 2010, this new fragrance for men is a flanker to 1991′s Kenzo Pour Homme.

This reworked version is finished in matte brown to reflect the trunk of a tree and features vibrant engraved leaves that bring the bottle to life.

Harking back to the original Kenzo Homme bottle, Woody - Boisée - is inspired by the vitality of bamboo, one of nature’s marvels.

“For this fragrance, I imagined a Kenzo tree with woody notes to symbolise unmistakeable masculinity. For me, this tree epitomises a man’s sense of peace as he draws his strength from nature. I visualised its cool, bright leaves in mint and basil. For its branches, I chose a blend of black Madagascar pepper and Tunisian rosemary to emphasise the woody notes. I also worked with cedar which represents the trunk to bring strength, movement and depth to my creation. Finally, for the roots, I used Haitian vetiver which gives depth and creates a balance within the fragrance” Olivier Polge, Perfumer

The set also includes a tube of hair and body shower gel to fragrance your skin with hints of mint, basil, undertones of black pepper, rosemary, vetiver and cedar.
