Eros is the fragrance that interprets the sublime masculinity through a luminous aura with an intense, vibrant and glowing freshness obtained from the combination of mint leaves, Italian lemon zest and green apple. An addictive sensuality delivered by Oriental, intriguing and enveloping notes like Tonka Beans, Amber, Geranium Flower and Vanilla. A racy virility symbolized by woods such as Cedarwood from Atlas and Virginia, Vetyver and Oak Moss, providing intensity and power.
+ vibrant citrus notes at the beginning
+ fresh but not overpowering
+ famous brand
I have bought a travel collection of Versace miniatures for the sake of having small amounts of feminine scents, but the creators of those sets always add 1-2 masculine scents as a bundle, and Versace Eros for Men has been one of those. This miniature bottle has found its target audience in the face of my husband. It is a good confidence-boosting and a little bold fragrance emanating pure fresh masculinity and the word 'fresh' is the main one here. I like to sense the first notes of the fragrance exploding with citrus and mint and even a tiniest whiff of green apple. It is not overpowering and despite that my (as well as my husband's) favourite is Versace pour homme EDT (black) with its sweet undertone and classy timeless elegance, Eros is a definite runner-up. It will best suit for active young men. One other great feature of Eros is its longevity. Regardless its EDT embodiment is stays strong till the late evening pleasantly fading into woodsy notes.
Strangely, but the design of the bottle has not phased me, quite the opposite - it still seems a bit depressing blue to me and the Greek theme has been much overdone. Finally, the price bites, though this EDT is totally worth it.
