Description

L’Eau d’Issey Florale, the unassuming emotion of natural elements that have been exposed, refined and beautified by a human hand. Because it embodies purity, balance and simplicity to an almost magical degree, l’Eau d’Issey Florale comes in the emblematic bottle of its origins – a luxurious glass cone featuring architectural lines approaching perfection. Easily recognisable, designed to transcend time and trends; beautiful and useful.

Summary
I had 2 miniature bottles of L'Eau d'lssey Florale EDT that went with other three IM creations as a travel set. The fragrance is very floral though not sweet but rather fresh, as the majority of Issey Miyake's creations. It is a good company to have in spring and summer, it gives lightness and optimism. I could hear strong notes of a rose and a lily, but no hint of the orange, promised by the designers. This scent will be relevant for any occasion - festive or not - and to my opinion has no age attributions or stereotypes whatsoever. The only downside of this EDT is perhaps its longevity (the price is well, but this one is to be expected), thus it needed to be kept close during the day to be re-applied (it is easy in case of a miniature, but will not be a very viable option with a full sized bottle). The bottle itself is an epitome of Japanese minimalism and expediency, but I like this trait in perfumes.
