Strongest points
Strong and very persistent.
Weakest points
An individual scent
Summary
As gypsonic says this was first released in 1963 and it was created by Paul Vacher. It really does have an old approach which is a bit of a shock at first. The leather (new car smell in fact) is very upfront but not unpleasant. The florals are strong and the whole thing is strong and very persistent (so be sure you like it. In expensive and if you like it very individual.

A revival of an old classic with distinct character

User Reviews

Strongest points
Intriguing scent of florals with leather. Strong scent but not overpowering. Fragrance lasts well on the skin
Weakest points
Understated bottle
Summary
I was given a trial of this at my local Dior counter where they are pushing the revival of this 60's fragrance. When first applied it gives a hard hit of florals but immediately you can easily detect wood notes with patchouli and leather! Yes leather...it really does smell like good quality leather. When dampened down the fragrance is a very woody character still with hints of feminine florals. The scent lasted well for at least 4 hours and in my opinion improved as each hour passes. The bottle looks a little dated but considering this is a revival of an old classic I guess they have tried to keep some of the original look. This perfume would not suit everyone, it is very unique to your skin type an tastes but of you like the look of the ingredients I would highly recommended a try (pop to your Dior counter first before diving in)
