A good-sized and interesting bottle, which could go in the handbag. The product is costly. Good that it is widely available.
Small enough to be portable with a spray nozzle. Light spring-time fragrance. Available from high street outlets.
Costly, not truly long-lasting.
This product was sent to me as part of my Harrod's Box in March. It was a pleasant fragrance, and I wished I had received a larger sample or that it appeared in their 20% discount range, as I would have considered purchasing a bottle with discount. The fragrance was not overpoweringly floral, although the top notes were of spring woodland. There was a subtle undercurrent that made this perfume stand out.
Chic & strangely nostalgic more suited to mature ladies
Unusual but striking scent of violets and cedar. Not over powering. Gorgeous quaint glass bottle with crackle glaze lid. Excellent longevity so good value for money
Could be classed as an old fashioned fragrance
I tried this perfume in an airport duty free and I was drawn initially buy the bottle. It is a clear heavy glass with a shape reminiscent f a bird cage. The stopper looks like a crackled glaze ceramic and I just loved the old fashioned look of the design. The scent is unusual. Its top notes are most definitely violet but they are not heady or strong. On my skin the dry down was subtle notes of cedar which added a warm spice to the background scent. I cannot describe why but this fragrance does have a rather nostalgic feel to it and I do not think it would suit younger perfume wearers but there is something distinctly chic and intriguing about it. The longevity is good and I think it improves throughout wear but this is a definite try before you buy
