Childhood memories of blackberry picking... stained lips, sticky palms. A burst of deep, tart blackberry juice, blending with the freshness of just-gathered bay and brambly woods. A vibrant and verdant fragrance.
I love the blackberry and bay fragrance,it is light and really fruity, you can really smell the blackberries.
This scent is a lot lighter than some of the others so would appeal to pepole who prefer a more subtle scent.
It would appeal to both men and women and with jo malone fragrances being unisex, either can wear them.
The scents can also be used together to make your own unique scent.
This is only a little noticable at the end of the day but it is a pleasant fragrance and great quality
Introduced in 2012 and created by Fabrice Pellegrin who also created Womanity
for Thierry Mugler. I love the idea of blackberry and bay. I seem to spend a lot of my time collecting blackberries but bay doesn't seem to feature in many of my favourites. Here the combination of earthy bramble and tart blackberry works very well. It's lighter than I would have thought and doesn't really have much staying power. I can see how overall this wouldn't appeal to everyone as maybe it's either a reminder of damp bramble or the blackcurrent is too much like a sweet but I like it.
