Description

Naturally found in our skin to maintain hydration levels, hyaluronic acid is a skin care superstar for a reason. Essentially a ‘moisture magnet’, it attracts moisture from the atmosphere and can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. Over time, our hyaluronic acid levels decrease resulting in dullness, fine lines and uneven tone and texture.
The perfect foil for this unfortunate state of affairs, The Inkey List's gentle Hyaluronic Acid Serum stars the stuff at a pure, 2% concentration and in three molecular weights (high, medium and low) to ensure maximum absorption at every layer of your skin. Dehydrated skin affects most of us (even oily skin can be dehydrated) and, differing from dryness, results from a lack of water in the skin.
Replenish this water with The Inkey List’s high-quality, impressively affordable formula and you can expect plumper, healthier skin, with fewer visible fine lines and wrinkles and a more even tone and texture. It can even aid the efficacy of products applied after it.
- Key Benefits:
• 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid
• Low and high molecular weight, to ensure penetration beneath the skin surface for maximum hydration
• Matrixyl 3000 to aid collagen production for added plumping effect
• Ideal for all skin types
- Hyaluronic Acid acts to:
• Target dry skin
• Works to hydrate skin
• Reduce the appearance of wrinkles
• Reduce the appearance of fine lines

Directions

• Use in the AM and PM.
• Onto cleansed skin apply a pea-sized amount to the fingertips and gently pat into the face and neck.
• Follow with preferred serums and moisturise.
• Hyaluronic acid can aid the efficacy of other products, so use it as your first serum, straight after cleansing and toning.

Strongest points
Bargain price point
Light, plastic bottle suitable for travel
Easily absorbed
Weakest points
Poorly designed flip top cap
Summary
I put this on par with other single ingredient hyaluronic acids such as those by Superdrug and The Ordinary. I would choose this one if I travelled a lot as the light, plastic bottle is ideal. However, I will buy other brands as I found I went through the product quickly through poorly designed packaging. The flip top cap makes it hard to control how much product is dispensed. I found that as this acid is quite runny, loads of product came out, which is inefficient.
It did work though and is easily absorbed.
