I have tested this Kiehl's Eye-Brightening Concentrate as a 1.5 ml sample - it claimed to be used only once however, such volumes lasts for long with me so I kept the open pack in the fridge. To say the truth I have heard a lot of compliments towards the brand, thus I have decided to give it a try. Kiehl's PSLRB concentrate has a pleasant somewhat oily texture and milkish-white colouring. Though it is definitely intended for more mature skin, than mine, it has nevertheless managed to impress me - I am an experienced (though not very successful) 'fighter' with dark under eyes circles (that plagued me since my childhood) and this serum has delivered more in barely a week than I would have expected in a month. The area around my eyes has gained healthier colour and the mentioned circles became less noticeable to say the least. The same has happened to fine lines and so called tiny 'crows feet' in the corners of my eyes (even at 30 those nasties have already began manifesting themselves due to my habit of active facial gesturing). Moreover, my sensitive skin under the eyes often rejects many treatments by any kind of adverse effect - itching, burning, redness, dryness, unpleasant sensations, but this concentrate has got in tune with it pretty well.
Speaking about things I haven't like about this item, first of all - it is a price of a full volume product. Despite its miraculous effects, the volume/price ratio is unbalanced. Then go its absorption properties: I can't say it did not absorb, it did, but it was like a tiny layer of oily substance remained for a very long time. Perhaps, it is the properties of the serum (that the skin feels as though it was greased with oil or butter), but I have found them a bit uncomfortable. And the last off kilter thing about the concentrate has been it is odd (verging on unpleasant) smell. I felt is very subtly and only upon squeezing the serum out of the pack, but it still has succeeded to unnerve me.
I may recommend Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate but I bet that the high price might overshadow its beneficial effects.
