Although I don't recommend this product it's not that it doesn't work it's just that a combination of factors makes me like it less than other (less expensive) options. The first thing you'll notice when using this mask is the scent. The description suggests fruit but I thought it smelt like a sea mud scrub and it had a decided yeasty smell. Nothing bad with either but certainly a little too definite for me. Also the scent lingered both on the skin during the mask and afterwards which I didn't like.
The texture of the mask is harsher than some (more like The Body Shop Blue Corn Mask but maybe not as thick in texture) but did it's job very well. In use it was firm and easy to apply accurately. It dried evenly and was easy to remove without leaving any residue. The texture is still harsh after drying so be careful when removing it (although I rather liked the feel of it then as my skin was more prepared for the exfoliating after having the mask applied.
The result was quite a nice smooth skin but like I said the downside of the scent just makes me not want to use the product.
