I have a great range of lip balms as I hate being without one so I have them in coat pockets, bags and in the car too so I can always grab one.
This one is like a lipstick so no fingers needed but it is quite soft so be careful not to press too hard and keep it somewhere cool.I do prefer not having to apply with my finger as I feel it is more hygienic.
The product is natural and not tested on animals so I find it is absorbed more easily than petroleum based products like Vaseline. I love the natural smelling ginger and lemon ans these are also tastes that I like having on my lips. I get a very slight warming tingle from the ginger too.
It not only protects my lips but also moisturises them too rather than just adding a layer of grease.
I have recently been sampling some products from the Badger range. The company produces products that are made form natural ingredients and free from parabens and harmful chemicals. I adore the packaging of this range which is bright, fun and the colours are indicative of the product inside. This balm is more of an oil based product as apposed to beeswax so if you are not a fan of oily textures this may not be for you.
The balm has an authentic lemon and ginger fragrance and glides onto the lips smoothly. It melts with your skin heat to an oily texture. On my lips the balm semi absorbs well and leaves my lips feeling soft and moisturised but you are left with an oily residue on your lips which quickly disappears with eating and drinking.
I personally like this texture in a balm so I am happy with the formula. Combined with the fact that is made from natural ingredients I would be happy to re-purchase
