Description

The skin around the eyes is much thinner than skin on other areas of the body. It has minimal fat padding which makes it prone to puffiness; it has hardly any glands, which make it prone to dryness and it gets stressed due to constant eye movements. These are just some of the reasons the eye area is so delicate and requires a little bit of extra TLC.
Awaken and infuse the delicate eye area with essential hydration while softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The Essential –C Eye Cream is packed full to the brim with Vitamin C and other essential nutrients to ensure maximum skin health, reverse environmental damage and defend skin from the daily assault of free radical damage.
Caffeine will awaken your eyes, reducing puffiness and increasing skin firmness, while light diffusers minimise the appearance of dark circles and crow’s feet. This multi-beneficial eye cream also has powerful broad spectrum sun protection ensuring your eyes stay youthful, healthy and bright.
Increase cell turnover and promote collagen production for smooth, firm, younger-looking skin. This eye cream gives instant results but when used daily, it improves the look and health of the skin around your eyes.
Tip: Use the Essential-C Eye Cream with the Environmental Shield range to defend your skin from the daily assaults of environmental damage such as smoke, pollution and sun damage.

Every day after cleansing and toning, gently pat a small amount onto the brow bone and beneath the eye.

Strongest points
Lovely fragrance, tiniest amount needed.
Weakest points
Very expensive.
Summary
The full sized item comes in a pump container, but I had a small 4ml tube which came in a travel set. I feel that perhaps I would prefer the tube as only a tiny amount of the product is required and a pump might deliver too much and encourage wastefulness. I adored the citrus fragrance of the product which helped me develop a sensory massage for my skin each morning and evening, whilst inhaling the wonderful citrus oils. My skin felt pampered and my whole being relaxed after each usage.

This range is my favourite from Murad and I always look out for special deals on the site in order to get this product at a reduced price as I find it is more than I would generally pay for an eye cream. Despite this fact, it remains one of my current favourites.

Strongest points
Refreshing, works well and lasts ages
Weakest points
Price
Summary
I got a sample of this (7ml) and it has lasted me 3 months.

Only needing the smallest amount, it massages well into the skin and absorbs well without leaving and residue behind.

After 1 week of use, I no longer had dark circles.

The scent is zesty and refreshing.

I just wish the price was a lot less as this is far by the best cream I ever used on my eyes.

Strongest points
Feels nice on the skin.
Weakest points
The price
Summary
This is a nice product that works well but in reality the price makes it a luxury rather than a necessity. The scent is light and slightly hard to detect and the texture is a little stiffer than I would expect of an eye cream. You really need to use a very small amount otherwise you skin gets overloaded. Absorption is okay rather than good but it does feel nice and relaxing in use. The impact was minor but noticeable.
