Biotherm's first flash eye awakener gives your eyes a totally revitalized look. Formulated with all the hydration agents of Aquasource and enriched with a specific combination of cooling, de-puffing, lightening and blurring complex, Aquasource Eye Revitalizer provides an instant cooling effect and a fresh eyes sensation. Bags are debuffed, dark circles reduced, dehydration lines smoothed, eye contour continuously hydrated.
It does decrease black circles plus diminishes the puffs (life is full of stress and I am a ‘cry-baby’ sometimes). Upon application it could burn for 5 seconds tops and then settles into producing a cooling effect. The structure of the aquamarine-coloured cream is a bit sticky hence it is not a good solution to use just before applying make-up. It is better to be used an hour in advance to take full effect. As for me, I prefer post-make-up application in the evening. It absorbs well, but not too quickly and to this end you may need a napkin to blot the unabsorbed remains. There is no anti-age properties featured and I believe there are indeed none (apart from evening out wrinkles caused by dehydration) so I would not advise this item for mature skin.
The last but not the least, and this one seems to be inherent to the Aquasource line is the 'sea' (or as I call it - algae) smell. Depending on the quantity of substance used it may vary from strong men eau de cologne to a bit nasty one definitely attributed to a marine life. I had some time to get used to this smell, however due to the fact that Aquasource Total Eye Revitalizer requires a minimum quantity the situation is much better than with other similar Biotherm products.
In general, I can recommend this eye treatment.
