Yves Rocher Sérum Végétal Smoothing Care Day Cream seduced me with its surprisingly pleasant scent. It is felt on the skin for solid 2-3 hours after application. Other distinctive positive feature of the cream is that instantly after I use it the skin surface transforms into a velvety and even one (I can't stop feeling it with my fingertips). However, this effect is a short-lived one and if you proceed with applying it on a daily basis (as I did) you will soon notice that the skin becomes much greasier and the blackheads appear or, if they were originally, get bigger...It is also too dense and rich to be used as a base for any make up, it is has a texture of a regular night cream. It absorbs OK, but leaves a layer of sheen behind.
During my active use of the Sérum Végétal I failed to notice any serious anti-age effect (and I do already have wrinkles so there was a room for an improvement in this domain). And last but not the least - despite the brand claims to have organic ingredients, its goods usually do not: silicones, alcohol, mineral oils... you name it.
I still have a small tube of cream left (had originally 2, 10ml each) and may use a very small amount of it once a month - just to smell that scent (it is indeed very lovely) and to feel how smooth my cheeks are, but I am not risking a daily use of it, as well as will not recommend it for others.
