As we age our facial features become less defined and the face can look more sad and tired. This 'sad look' can be attributed to the appearance of deep & vertical wrinkles. Vertical wrinkles can be particularly resistant and hard to correct.
Following 10 years of research, Vichy combines for the first time two ingredients: pure Retinol, in very high concentration and LR2412 to:

Directions
Apply either morning or night to the face and neck area avoiding the eye contour. Either use alone or in combination with your daily moisturiser.
When using LiftActiv Advanced Filler, apply a minimum sun protection of at least SPF 15 during the day.
Avoid sun exposure or artificial UV exposure
Do not use in conjunction with other retinoid products.
In case of discomfort during the early days of use, space out applications to once every two days to allow the skin to become used to retinol.

I got a sample of this and it did seem to reduce my lines but I also found that it made my skin slightly red where I applied it. I use it now only once a week as it is quite powerful stuff.
My skin looked tighter and more healthy I feel but it began to cause an allergic reaction and made my skin tingle when I applied it. I know when a product is affecting my skin and stop using it. i find that if I use it only once a week then the reaction does not set it. hopefully the product will still have the same effects only slower.
Personally I would not buy this as it didn't agree with my skin but I do think it is a quality product but I would suggest a sample trial before you outlay any money if you have sensitive skin.

This cream is rich, but absorbs well into the skin. After 1 week of using the cream, I felt that my skin looked much more balanced. The price maybe a little steep for some though.

This product is specifically formulated to reduce deep, vertical wrinkles. This isn't a problem for me right now, but the filler did leave my skin feeling smoother and firmer. Unfortunately, it's much too harsh for my sensitive skin.

- My skin would sting after applying the filler. As directed, I tried applying the filler every other day instead of daily to reduce irritation, but this didn't resolve the issue.
