Strongest points
Spf 15
Smooth moisturiser
non irritating
Weakest points
maybe to much sparkle pigmentation for some
Summary
I got this product as a sample, and really quite enjoyed using it. I felt it was very light on the skin, it didn't remain tacky. The absorption was very good. It also felt cool and soothing. Some moisturisers can be a little tacky and take time to absorb, this one was, in my opinion alright. I'm not a lover of the range Simple. I find even although they aim the range at sensitive and easily irritated skin, I tend to find some of the products are quite useless in this department. This moisturiser I found to be good. I does brand itself at Illuminating due to brightening mineral..which I think is really a little sparkle. I like the feel of this cream and its hydrating properties lasted all day, my skin was brighter, not just down to the 'flecks of sparkle' as some areas they weren't apparent, but my skin look nicer. I think the amount of sparkle that appears on your skin is possible down to the amount of cream used. I didn't find it a problem, and it didn't interfere with any other makeup application.
I like it...and as it can be on offers within Superdrug, it could be a good one for the summer and on holiday, just an extra sunkissed boost.

Strongest points
No scent. A decent moisturiser. SPF of 15.
Weakest points
Full of glitter and parabens.
Summary
I tried a sample of this. It isn't a product I would buy as it contains parabens. When I applied it in the morning, it did feel really smooth, refreshing and moisturising on my skin. I wouldn't say that I looked illuminated though. Catching myself in front of a mirror later in the day though I thought I saw glitter on my face. On closer inspection, my whole face was covered in glitter like a seven year-old girl at a birthday party. Not a look I go in for. The packaging describes this as "light reflecting minerals", admittedly it's not large specks of glitter but still definitely glitter. I wouldn't even call it a shimmer - definitely, definitely glitter. This puts me right off.
