I received a free sample from Origins to try out. What I liked was that the cream was made from natural ingredients sourced from plants.
The cream absorbed well into the skin and felt rich and luxurious when applied. The fragrance was mild and very pleasant indeed. My skin felt nourished and loved. The price was a bit steep, but I reckon it is money well spent.
I had never tried Origins before, so this was a treat. Although it is very expensive for most peoples pockets, I was lucky to get samples, which do allow that pre-purchase try. I found this moisturiser to be of a rich, thick creamy consistancy, which due to price means you don't require much, so it could be cost effective against cheaper brands. I loved the feeling of your skin being almost fed the goodness from the ingredients. I have dry skin and this did absorb slower than i expected, but well worth the few minutes. My skin felt really good and soft. I was also happy that this has a HIgh SPF, which is great, meaning, at least for me, that i don't have to put any of those manufactured sunscreens on my face, i can just use this moisturiser. Its lovely protective cream in all aspects of facial skincare, there is a distracting smell, but thats because of the plant ingredients, but it doesn't last. All in all, expensive but it covers all facial bases on daily usage all year round.
If I could afford it I would buy most of my face products from Origins as I like the fact they are made from natural ingredients from PLANTS so animla friendly and not tested on animals.
I survive on samples as much as I can and this moisturiser is quite thick and white cream so a little goes a long way. I found it was absorbed quite quickly and my face felt soft and not at all tight after applying.
I applied the serum first as instructed by the lady at Origins. Sadly my samples are getting a bit low so might have to go and beg some more.
