This cream comes in a substantially weighty, ceramic type jar with a screw on lid, so it feels like good quality packaging for a budget/high street brand.
The cream itself is quite thick and rich but spreads easily and quickly over the face and neck. It has an inoffensive and pleasant enough fragrance which isn't overpowering. As this is quite rich it's easy to put on too much at first and therefore it can feel quite heavy and greasy. I found a little goes a long way and was soon after able to use just enough to feel thoroughly moisturised without looking/feeling oily. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin types (although I do have an oily T-zone).
I do find this cream takes a few minutes longer than I am used to sink in but my skin feels nourished and hydrated throughout the day. This would be very suitable for dry skin and for people who prefer a heavier, rich cream. I find this a good base for make up (liquid foundation and/or powder straight on) and the overall appearance of my skin looks healthy. However, I am coming up to 2 months of using this and haven't noticed much in the way of improvement of wrinkles or age spots. I am in my early 30's so don't have deep lines but this cream hasn't improve the light forehead line or cluster of dark pigmentation spots I have on either cheeks.
I do very much like that this is SPF 30 as I was using a separate SPF and moisturiser prior to this. Also for this time of year (Autumn/Winter) I am enjoying using a richer cream especially on the drier areas of my face, therefore I shall persevere and hope I soon start to see improvements in the areas this cream is advertised to work for - wrinkles and age spots!
