Description

This is a moisturiser for those who want a cream that doesn’t sit on the skin for ages. This cream vanishes completely, leaving nothing behind except beautifully soft skin.
Making light, low-fat creams can be a tricky business. Lush have perfected it over the years and for this cream they have used light oils of grapeseed and jojoba. They give that a boost with shea butter, honey and witch hazel - and then the trick is to add a botanical gel of linseed. They make this by boiling linseed in water until they get to that magical stage where they give off mucilage that thickens the water to a clear gel. This gel is amazingly softening on the skin and is wonderful in conjunction with the oils in this cream.
This finely balanced formula gives us a cream that is light in texture and low in fat, that when put on will sink in and vanish, but will leave the skin feeling soft and conditioned.
Ideal for use any time when you don’t want your face feeling heavy with oils.
Works well under make up, for morning use, or for a quick refresher throughout the day.
Wonderful on oily skin or on T-zones. Essential oils of lavender, rose and geranium will help balance the skin as well as give a light pretty fragrance.
Troubled, oily, or spotty skin needs careful cleaning and gentle moisturising. This cocoa butter free formula allows you to put back vital moisture, without overloading the skin or causing it to over-react.

Directions

Put a dab on your fingertip and pat gently onto clean, slightly damp skin. A little bit goes a long way. Can be used in the morning after toning and in the evening after cleansing and toning. If you are traveling, may we suggest that you check the lid for tightness and then place it in a ziplock bag so that you don't end up moisturizing your luggage.

I got a sample of this in my effort to try and use every Lush product. I liked it despite not actually having the younger combination skin this is aimed at. Rose essential oil is great fro repairing skin. I bought some for my daughter and she loves it . It is quickly absorbed and leaves skin feeling well fed and soft. I liked the fact it smelled slightly rosy a bit like the Melvita moisturiser I tried .

I've never really been one for moisturising my skin, but I've been told that I should so I went out looking for a light moisturiser that wouldn't make my face greasy as I have quite oily skin. I found a light moisturiser in Lush's Vanishing Cream; I found that I only needed a small amount and that my skin absorbed it very quickly. It made my skin feel really soft which was great, however it made my skin ridiculously greasy which was really disappointing.

In all honesty, this moisturiser was disappointing on a many levels:
The price.. At £17.50 for a 45g pot it is disgusting that Lush think they can charge that much for a moisturiser. The smell... It's absolutely vile it has a really strong smell of rose water which makes me feel quite ill. It made my face so greasy I had to wash my face in the end. In fact the only positive thing I can say about Vanishing Cream is that it's extremely light.

All in all Vanishing Cream isn't worth the money. I got a sample of it and I wouldn't even get another one of them again let alone spend £17.50 on a full pot. Absolute rubbish!

This moisturiser is great,so light and vanishes into skin so quickly.
my skin was left soft and feeling moisturised.
I had qute a generous sample of this but i dont know if i could justify paying the expensive price, products have to make a big impact on me to justify a paying a large amound.
I have tried less expensive but just as good moisturisers.
