Description

A rich cream designed to leave a supple protective layer on the face, without feeling heavy or too greasy. It's based on organic sesame oil, almond oil, evening primrose oil, cocoa butter, avocados and aloe vera. The sesame oil is a thick oil to nourish the skin, but has a strong nutty smell, so it's been complimented with an infusion of fresh rose petals, rose absolute and neroli essential oil. The result is a product for your skin to drink up, leaving it hydrated, soft, matte and ready to face whatever the world throws at it.
This is one of the products the Lush founders list as their Desert Island Product – because no matter what your skin, this will fulfill your needs. Wind, rain, sun, snow – Skin Drink will deal with it, without causing any problems even for sensitive skin.
Lush has been making moisturisers for sixteen years and before that they’d already been making cosmetics for longer than they care to mention. They blend natural ingredients with safe synthetics to get the best results for all the many skin types, now and for way into the future. Lush feel that it is important that you get the right moisturiser for your face and it is crucial to realise that moisturisers don’t all do the same thing. They’ve spent years and more years working on combining a huge variety of plant ingredients to get very different effects, so please choose from Lush's moisturizer range carefully.

I like this cream as it is gentle and smells pleasant and has lots of natural ingredients. It does still have parabens but that aside it is pretty natural in its ingredients that are beneficial.I find it is quickly absorbed but I tend to use it mainly on my dry parts of my face and avoid my nose area as that is quite greasy.

I was eager to try this moisturiser and i love the scent.
I applied it and it absorbed ok but did feel a little heavy and a bit greasy, best for a night cream or for someone with very dry skin.
would recommend though

Lush sell so many wonderful products, but this moisturizer failed to reach the mark. It was one of the oiliest moisturizers I've ever tried, and made my sensitive skin itch.

User Reviews

Strongest points
A small amount goes a long way.
Weakest points
The sesame fragrance is too overpowering. Too oily.
Summary
A sadly disappointing Lush moisturizer. Far too oily, and didn't absorb well. Despite the recommendations, not suitable for sensitive skin.
