Description

Perfect for normal to dry skin, Garnier Start Afresh a mixture of ultra-light smoothing oils and Blue Lotus extract leaves the skin feeling fresh, extra soft and hydrated.
Moisture Match:
Not all skin is the same, so a tailor-made approach to your skincare routine is essential.
The five new Moisture Match moisturisers combines the best textures and ingredients with Mannose – a patented hydrating active ingredient – which works hard to help reinforce the skin’s barrier function and to improve the appearance of skin texture.
There are five moisturisers to choose from:
-Goodbye Dry (for dry to very dry skin)
-Start Afresh (for normal to dry skin)
-Shine Be Gone (for combination to oily skin)
-Wake Me Up (for dull skin)
-Protect & Glow (for Normal skin)

Directions

Apply all over face to visibly improve skin texture.

Summary
I've tried others in the Moisture Match range but I've only just got around to trying this one. The Garnier price is quite good (if not great) and this one works well with dryer skin but I do find the slightly sweat scent a little off putting. The crème is light and it absorbs okay but I didn't really see much impact. Nice and not expensive but not great.

Of the three samples that I received, this one was by far the best. On applying to the skin it absorbed really well and left my skin feeling very soft, smooth and oh so gentle. It also had a lovely fragrance too.

Summary
This is probably my favourite of the Moisture Match range. Great quality moisturizer without a heavy price tag. Easily a handbag, gym bag and/or travel bag staple.

I used this product for a couple of days, after receiving 3 different creams from this new range. I select the Start Afresh, as it was promoted as a 'New Start' for your skin. It is classed as being non-greasy & quick to absorb. This i found not the case. I have dry skin, but in using this product it seemed i didnt have dry skin, as the cream too ages to absorb. My forehead still felt as if the cream was still there, hours later. The smell was exceptionally off putting, it had a very leafy pungent scent. I found it very hard to find anything encouraging in the products that would benefit my skin..and with Glycerin being the second top ingredient followed by a bunch of lengthy names, none of which was inspiring. There is oils, but so far down the list they are alomost insignificant. For me this cream is nothing special, and seems to be recycling old fashioned ingredients that most people no longer want on their skin. I know it is priced affordably and will sell, so for that reason i would recommend it. Garnier do have better on the market.

Strongest points
Very affordable. A clean and fresh fragrance. Non-irritating. Moisturizes the skin leaving it smooth and supple.
Weakest points
A bit greasy. Didn't absorb that quickly. Better suited to dry rather than normal to dry skin.
Summary
An affordable facial moisturiser that leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished.
