Intoxicating product

Richly hydrating and seductive fragrance.

User Reviews

Strongest points
Amazing fragrance, deeply hydrating, local product, not tested on animals, organic ingredients, vegan ingredients, natural ingredients, suitable for pregnant women.
Weakest points
A little tricky to remove product from the pot, a little too oily for daytime use, product needs to be melted on fingertips to avoid dragging on the skin.
Summary
I wanted to give this product a really long trial before I placed my review. I also wanted to compare daytime and night time usage, to see how I got on. Even before beginning my trial, the aroma of the product was quite intoxicating, and I can see that chocolate lovers will be salivating while applying it! It leaves a pleasant vanilla aroma on the skin which is quite long-lasting.

Initially the product is solid and crumbly when taken from the glass pot. It should be rubbed gently between the fingertips before application, to melt into an oil, which is then easily applied. Applying directly to the skin while still solid causes a little bit of dragging on the skin, and the texture may then be found to be grainy. Used as a night cream, this product will be absorbed overnight into the skin and will leave your face feeling nourished and richly hydrated. It is an excellent product. I found that for daytime use, it left a little bit of a sheen on the surface of the skin. This product would be great for use on any dry skin patches on the body, or even for a massage. The fragrance is delightful!

Luxurious moisuriser

From the moment i received and tried this moisturiser i loved it,
The white chocolate truffle scent enriched with the organic Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil and fragrant extracts of Cocoa and pure Bourbon Vanilla smelt amazing !!!!

On first impressions it looks very solid like a balm this is because its very concentrated and holds no mineral oils, parabens, silicones, emulsifiers or any other man-made chemicals, the ingredients are organic and natural.

Its highly moisturising for use on many areas face and body which is where i have been using it, I particuarly love the fact i can use it as a night moisturiser a lip balm a skin balm for use on any dry patches and also for a hand cream it truly is such a hard working moisuriser that obsorbs extremely well into the skin without leaving them oily or greasy.

My skin is so much more softer and smoother and its all down to this amazing moisuriser.

Its such a fantasic product as its also very long lasting a little goes along way and i found it so much easier to apply by taking the product out with a small plastic spatula.

Get rid of rough patches with this decadent moisturiser

Strongest points
Smells divine! A little goes a long way, great results on even the driest most sensitive skin.
Weakest points
A little hard to use if you don't have very warm hands or skin.
Summary
I've been wanting to try Mu London for ages, and I was lucky enough to trial this for free. The moisturiser comes in a classy little jar with a screw top lid, and when I opened it I was completely overwhelmed by how delicious it smells. It's the first chocolate/cocoa butter scented product I've ever used that doesn't smell even a little synthetic. Imagine a luxurious box of white chocolate bottles, and that's the scent.

This product is very thick to the point of being solid, almost like a lip balm. The instructions tell you to melt a little bit on your hands and then apply to your skin. This is sometimes easier said than done, especially if you're cold blooded like me! It's much easier when you've just come out of the shower.

However, once you've managed to get it out of the pot, the product spreads quite easily over the skin and sinks in really quickly. I have dry skin on my face with some very rough, scaly patches. After two days' use, these patches have disappeared! It doesn't leave my skin oily at all, although I don't expect that I'll be able to use it in the summer when my skin is generally in much better condition and even a little oily from the factor 50 suncreams that I need to use.

I'll definitely be checking out Mu London's other products for summer, and also after reading the reviews below I'll be trying it out on my bad hand eczema and will report back. I honestly think this is the product to finally tempt me away from Liz Earle moisturiser, which I've been using for years!

Beautiful,natural moisturiser

I love this moisturiser it smells amazing but not overpowering and the natural ingredients are lovely.
It is a little difficult to get from the jar as it tends to get under your nail, you have to press your fingertip in little circles around the top of the balm like product and it melts onto your finger, then apply to face or other dry areas of skin.
It melts in with relative ease and my dry skin really soaked it up and left no oily residue but my skin felt really really soft and supple afterwards.
The cream itself is amazing and great to apply more at night to give your skin a treat.
A wonderful product if not a little tricky to get out of jar.
would highly recommend especially for parched, weather battered skin :)

Chocolate on my face ,a big disgrace....

I was so taken with my marigold, frankincense and myrrh MuLondon moisturiser that I used my 20% off code and bought two others as well. This and the hemp one.

This smells so creamy and decadent and is just as lovely to apply as my other one.

I was really surprised at how hard this product was as am used to creams with lots of air and water. This is pretty solid and I scrape some off with my nails so that I end up with a small chunk on the top of my nails, not under them. I then rub two fingers together with the product between them to melt it and then I use the fingers to apply this to my face.

Initially I found it quite greasy and wondered how it would be on my skin but the greasiness went very quickly as the natural oils were absorbed into my skin. I find that this is a great for massaging my face as I apply it. I do a little at a time and gently massage the wrinkliest and most lined areas just as they do when I have a facial. I do this just before I get into bed and it really relaxes me and also feeds my skin with all the goodies so that they can do their magic overnight.

When I use this as a day cream I use it slightly more sparingly and then apply my make up if I am going out. If I am just staying at home then I just apply this and gently massage then add nothing else.

I have had NO nasty reaction since using this and my skin feels nice and soft and the smell is just gorgeous.

Yes this is a great concentrated natural moisturiser with organic natural, vegan friendly quality ingredients. It is easy to use once you get the hang of getting the stuff out. As it gets further down the pot I will use the handle of a teaspoon to get the product out.

Well done MuLondon a great ethical company offering a quality product that smells great.
