Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream - Normal to Dry Skin

Description

This velvety, nourishing face cream quenches very dry skin, shielding it from the dehydrating effects that leave skin looking dry and weathered: sudden temperature changes, indoor and outdoor pollutants, and environmental stress. Organic leaf of life—a super-quenching succulent plant extract—revitalizes the skin's natural hydration to retain moisture in any environment.
- Key benefits:
• Perfectly hydrated skin.
• Fresh, soft, plumped skin.
• Radiance is revived.
• Clarins Anti-Pollution Complex

Directions

Apply morning and/or evening to the face and neck.

User Reviews

Strongest points
+ light texture
+ good hydration
+ air-tight packaging
Weakest points
- clogs pores
- rolls into small pellets
- slow absorption
- won't be enough for winter season
Summary
Despite cute packaging design, nice smell of mixed citrus with herbs and light texture all this cream provided is hydration. Especially well this effect is witnessed if the cream is applied in the evening - then in the morning you'll wake up with refreshed completion and well-moisturized skin. However, the cream absorption is rather poor, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes for it to be soaked up by the skin even if the very small amount of the substance is used. In the long term (if used daily for a month) it tends to clog pores... So the only good thing is moisturizing effect (it indeed deals with chafed and fatigued skin), but as one notorious song from early 2000 says - that don't impress me much, meaning that I can buy cheaper good hydration moisturizers without any side effects.
