Strongest points
You only need a small amount and it works well
Weakest points
Maybe a little pricy
Summary
This is one of three Murad cleansers I've been trying (Refreshing, Renewing and this the Essential-C) and they are all good in terms of results but still a little different between themselves. All three are economical in terms of how much you use but this one is the least in terms of lather (a good or bad thing depending on personal taste). It has a faint zest rather than something overpowering which I rather liked. The gel is light but thick enough so that it doesn't go everywhere and it feels nice on the skin. In terms of whether it does more to support environmentally damaged skin... well it works well and doesn't over dry the skin. It does seems to cleanse thoroughly but then so do the other three. The price is a little worrying but you really do only use a very small amount and if it's one you like then it's probably good value.
