Summary
I tried Dermatologica Special Cleansing Gel as a 7ml sample provided by the B.O.T. team. It is a transparent thick gel substance with a bit chemical or resin smell (may be off-putting and overpowering at first). It has proven to be a good cleanser for my face since it does not contain aggressive ingredients (as usual soap) and has an excellent lathering properties. It perfectly removes all make-up without any itching or burning/stinging sensations (unless it gets into the eyes) leaving the skin moisturized and well-cared for. It also has diminished several nagging black spots which I used to have on my nose. In comparison to my two-phased micellar water it is definitely and improvement but the former beats this gel due to its scent and a better price/volume ratio. It is also difficult to come by in stores due to its cost.
In general I can recommend it (especially if you have an extra money to spare) since it deliveres velvety and smooth skin.

Strongest points
A nice lather than works well.
Weakest points
Expensive for the results.
Summary
A good cleansing gel that lathers easily but not too much and works well. bakesnknits mentions that it stings if you get it into your eyes and it certainly does! The scent is fine but a little sterile for me but it doesn't linger on the skin. I did take to it and liked it but it's expensive and in reality the impact isn't really worth it.

Strongest points
This has a lovely smell; clean and fresh. It doesn't lather too much, which I hope means it doesn't have too many nasties in it.
Weakest points
If this gets anywhere near my eyes, it really stings. I stopped using this early because of this I used it with a muslin cloth or flannel and I think if you didn't it wouldn't clean all your make-up off. I prefered using this in conjunction with the brightening powder scrub.
Summary
A pricey cleanser and I think you can do much better for your money.
