Description

A refreshing, skin de-stressing cleansing foam. Gentle Tamarind Fruit Acids free pores of trapped make-up, excess oil, pollutants and dull-making dead cells for a refined, matte complexion. Silky lather rinses easily with cool water. Protects skin from the drying effects of hard water.

Directions

Lather a small amount of cleanser in the hand and massage over the entire face using light, circular movements. Avoid the eye contour area. Rinse thoroughly using cool water in the morning and warm water in the evening.

Ingredients

- Gypsophila extract: helps create a fine, lightweight cleansing foam
- Cottonseed: softens
- Tamarind: refines, keeps pores clean.
- Purifying Micro-Pearls: purify
- Bio-Ecolia, extracted from natural sugars, helps to preserve the skin's natural moisture balance

For a sensitive skin cleanser my skin reacted badly

User Reviews

Strongest points
Medium mousse type consistency that foams in contact with water. Leaves skin feeling totally cleansed. Pleasant floral, herbal scent. Simple practical squeeze tube packaging
Weakest points
After two weeks made my skin feel dry and tight
Summary
I really enjoy foam cleansers and find that they have superior cleansing action in comparison to cream cleansers. I received this cleanser in with a multi-purchased Clarins set and was keen to try it out. The product is a mousse like texture, peachy in colour with a slightly floral, herbal scent. The packaging is an easy squeeze tube and hand size. I used this product on a damp face and the cream foams in contact with water. This in itself is a lovely texture and very easy to massage and rinse away. At first my skin felt thoroughly cleansed and not at all tight but after a couple of week’s use I noted that my skin started to actually dry and out and the cleanser simply felt too harsh for my skin. Considering this cleanser is designed for dry and sensitive skin I was left feeling a little dismayed about this reaction and had to discontinue use

User Reviews

Strongest points
Cleansed skin well
Weakest points
Not as good as should be for the price.
Summary
I found Clarins to be not as good as the price tag suggests and there is a brand I would always choose over Clarins.
It foamed up really well and face was left clean and did not feel tight.
Not bad but certainly not worth the price.
For that price I would expect much more.
Would recommend but try and get it on offer and save a few pounds.

I've emailed Clarins asking them to evaluate their range and include mixtures of the cleanser as some people have 2-5 problem skin and one product cleanser that targets all would be a great idea..fingers crossed :)

User Reviews

Strongest points
The Gentle Foaming Cleanser worked wonderful on my face, it helped soften my dry, oily and sensitive (prone to blemishes skin). I used this product regularly for 8 months and it was great. It nourished, soothed and soften my skin against the hard water in our area.
Weakest points
Unfortunately after continuely using this product for 8 months, the cleanser seemed to work less that it did when I first started using it. It worked to the point that it made my skin soft but very dry.
Summary
Clarins offer the Gentle Foaming Cleanser in Dry & Sensitive Skin, Combination Skin, Normal Skin and Oily Skin, I've since found out from Clarins that you should use the one especially designed for your skin, which is hard if like me your looking at using 3 different cleansers to match your skin.
