It’s something of a cult beauty mantra to use organic and a b the face of the days impurities. However a lot of the balms like Eve Loms and Liz Earles are rather expensive when you are on a budget. So whats the cheaper but just as effective alternative? I found one in Boots for just under £7 that comes in a matt white and green box with a muslin cleansing cloth. However it does contain sodium laurel sulphate which is a minus- on the internet you can read about its effects. As its so rich you would think your skin would be like chip fat but its very soft and not at all oily. It also smells heavenly! A pot lasts about a month so its great value and works just as well as the Liz Earle one I tried.
It is very thick and melts into the face. It did a good job of removing make-up and generally cleansing although it didn't remove stubborn mascara.
