Description

It’s something of a cult beauty mantra to use organic and a b the face of the days impurities. However a lot of the balms like Eve Loms and Liz Earles are rather expensive when you are on a budget. So whats the cheaper but just as effective alternative? I found one in Boots for just under £7 that comes in a matt white and green box with a muslin cleansing cloth. However it does contain sodium laurel sulphate which is a minus- on the internet you can read about its effects. As its so rich you would think your skin would be like chip fat but its very soft and not at all oily. It also smells heavenly! A pot lasts about a month so its great value and works just as well as the Liz Earle one I tried.

Directions

Take a small dollop in your fingers massage it on a dry face and then take it off using the cloth wrung out in hot water a couple times. The hot water cloth removes debris and deep cleanses the skin opening the pores.

Ingredients

It contains mainly organic ingredients such as rose damascena oil which is good for anti ageing, bergamot good for blemishes and shea butter which is moisturising

Summary
I have never used anything like this before and although it took some work to use, it was certainly worth it and my face felt clearer.
Skin is left smooth and soft.
It took me a while to get all of the balm off, but once it was off my skin felt refreshed and clear.

Summary
I am a huge fan of cleansing balms and have tried many ranges from the cheap to the expensive. For me most balm products are effective however I am more keen on how my face feels after the cleanse. This balm is a great cleanse and my skin felt smooth and soft after removing the product. Balm is off putting to many skeptics as it is not to disimilar to using vaseline in consistency but once you have passed that phsycological barrier it is a wonderful product. Balm really does 'lift' and 'suck' the impurities out of the skin. It odes not irritate the skin or cause any excess grease. This is not my top balm cleanser but great value for money and effective. If you have never tried it I would recommend a trial.
