Strongest points
Unique powder formula that foams with contact with water. Deeply cleanses the skin and tighten and tones the skin. Tightens open pores. Does not dry out the skin. Pleasant, subtle fresh scent. A teaspoon of powder per application so good value for money
Weakest points
Powder can be fiddly to use and insistent frothing action of your add too much water
Summary
I picked up a small sample of this cleanser on my last visit to the BareMinerals counter and I have to say I am impressed. It is an unusual cleanser because its formulation is a powder. This would be off-putting for some but trust me it is well worth the effort. You mix approximately a teaspoon of powder in the palm of your hand with a few drops of water until you see the product start to foam. You them massage onto a damp, not wet face and allow the product to go to work. There is a pleasant fresh scent to the powder and the foam is very light and refreshing on the face. After rinsing you can feel a tightening effect which could be mistaken for dryness but this is not the case. It thoroughly cleanses away makeup, excess oils and dirt and leaves the skin feeling soft, refreshed and toned. I would not use this around my eye area as I felt too nervous to try. After you dry your face, your moisturiser absorbs much quicker and easier and some of my existing breakouts have started to dissipate. The only down side is the mixing process can be a little erratic as if you add too much water you don't get a froth but just a watery liquid. Once you have mastered the mix this cleanser is fantastic
