I received a trial pack of the Manuka Doctor ApiNourish products and have written individual reviews for all. This is a new brand to me and I was captivated by the brand’s ethic, ingredients and products. Purified bee venom is renowned for its powerful benefits and this is what Manuka Doctor has to say about its cosmetic benefits

I was naturally intrigued to try these products based on these facts.

I received a 7ml sample of the ApiNourish Age-Defying Serum as part of a set of 3 ApiNourish products and here is my review.

Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Age-defying Serum

The Serum is housed in a plain white squeeze tube with a screw top lid. The packing is simple and does not detract from the natural source of the ingredients. The tube is easy to dispense the product from and the serum is a semi opaque white colour with a medium consistency. The ingredients in this serum are really quite a powerful combination! It contains the amazing Purified Bee Venom (PBV™), Manuka Honey, Propolis Extract, Royal Jelly, Rosehip Seed Oil, Blackcurrant Seed Oil, Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid. All of these ingredients have amazing benefits for the complexion and I was very excited to see the results after use.

After cleansing and toning I dispense an approximate large ‘pea size’ of serum and smooth between the palms before applying to my skin. The serum has a dry silky feel and glides beautifully and easily onto the skin. Upon application the serum immediately and rapidly absorbs into the skin. Initially this gave me the feeling that I needed to apply more but do refrain! The results after just one application proves that less is more with this powerful serum! The product has a beautiful but not overpowering fragrance that is a slightly sugary, sweet scent. It is fresh and uplifting and an absolute delight to the senses. My first application of this serum was after my evening cleanse and underneath the Manuka Rejeuvanting Night Cream (as directed). The following morning I was really quite stunned at my refection in the mirror! For a while now I have suffered prolonged stress which has resulted in some rather upsetting and prominent frown lines, both on my forehead and between the eyes. No matter what I use I have not been able to tame these visible lines. Remarkably, on the first morning these lines were more than half their usual depth and prominence and my whole facial area looked plumped, smoothed and more even toned! I am absolutely thrilled and over awed by these results!

The effects of the serum are immediate but over several weeks of use it just gets better and better. I have suffered no reactions from the serum and my lines are barely visible in comparison to their previous appearance before the trial.

I am overjoyed at the results on my skin and would highly recommend this as a night cream for most complexions. Do not be put off by the thick texture of the cream, as once applied you will quickly see the benefits of these wonderful ingredients.

I cannot recommend this product enough, especially for those who have concerns mainly with ageing! I would suggest using it in combination with the rest of the ApiNourish range. The results have astounded me and I am saving very hard to buy the full size products. To sum this serum up, it is powerful, pure and perfect!!

Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Restoring Night Cream

The Night Cream is housed in a plain white squeeze tube with a screw top lid. The packing is simple and does not retract from the natural source of the ingredients. The tube is easy to dispense the product from and the cream is of a thick, indulgent consistency so there is no danger of over dispensing your product. After cleansing and toning I dispense an approximate ‘pea size’ of cream and smooth between the palms before applying to my skin. The product feels more like a balm to me that almost melts with the heat of your hands and glides beautifully and easily onto the skin. The product contains a mixture of oils, cocoa butter, honey and Shea Butter and it has a beautiful but difficult to describe fragrance. I can only describe it as a sugary, sweet fragrance and I love it so much I literally look forward to my night routine just to smell this wonderful cream. The cream absorbs extremely quickly and leaves no trace of residue or stickiness on the skin. The product is so highly concentrated this little tube has lasted me 3 weeks and I still have a quarter of a tube remaining. This is definitely a “less is more” product and although not on the cheaper end of the cosmetic pricing scale, it is excellent value for money based on its concentration.

The effects of this cream are immediate. Your skin drinks it in and the hydration is obvious. Each time, after application my skin feels plumped, soothed and has a rosy glow. Overnight the product continues to work and in the morning my skin is plumped, hydrated and rosy. I have suffered no breakouts or irritation at any time.

I am overjoyed at the results on my skin and would highly recommend this as a night cream for most complexions. Do not be put off by the thick texture of the cream, as once applied you will quickly see the benefits of these wonderful ingredients.

I, for one will be purchasing a full size jar of this cream as based on my trial I believe the results will continue to show and get better with each usage. A wonderful, indulgent, nurturing cream with instant results. And best of all…..it is bee friendly and not one of our ‘buzzy’ friends has been harmed in the process! This is a potent product that won’t sting your budget!!!

Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Rejuvenating Bee Venom Face Mask

The last product to review in the range is by no means the least! What better way to give your complexion a boost than a weekly Face Mask. The Bee Venom Face Mask by Manuka Doctor is a potent and high contender in the world of beauty masks!

The Face Mask is housed in a plain white squeeze tube with a screw top lid. The packing is simple and does not retract from the natural source of the ingredients. The tube is easy to dispense the product from and the mask is of a thick, indulgent consistency so there is no danger of over dispensing your product. After cleansing and toning I dispense an approximate ‘5 pence size’ worth of product and smooth on to my face, neck and décolleté as directed. The product is quite thick in consistency so I find that patting it evening over all areas before smoothing is the best way to distribute the mask affectively, without building up a concentration in one area. The mask contains n amazing cocktail of Manuka Honey, Propolis Extract, Purified Bee Venom, Royal Jelly, Kaolin Light Clay, Rosehip Seed Oil, Blackcurrant Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter. The fragrance is subtle and beautiful I can only describe it as a sugary, sweet scent. The mask does not fully absorb into the skin but there is no visible sign of product after application. The instructions state that you should leave on the kin for up to 30 minutes. This is how I use it as I want maximum effect from the product.

The effects of this mask are immediate. You can feel a toning, tightening sensation which is not uncomfortable and I noted a slight tingling sensation from the powerful cocktail of ingredients. After 30 minutes it is recommended that you remove the product with a warm damp cloth and this is easy and quick to do. After removal my skin feels toned, extremely smooth and not at all dehydrated or stripped of its natural oils. You can definitely see a reduction in your fine lines and wrinkles and with the application of the Age Defying Serum and Day/ Night Cream afterward the results are even more visible. My complexion looks plumped, toned and refined and there is a marked reduction in my open pores.

I have used this mask twice weekly and alongside the rest of the ApiNourish range I am thrilled with the results. My skin feels so smooth and looks more radiant and toned, just perfect for the ageing complexion. The collagen boosting ingredients in this product are evident after the first usage.

I cannot recommend the ApiNourish range enough to the ageing generation of skins and the proof of the potency of these are products is evident very quickly. This product and its partners in the range may not be suited to all budgets but the proof of quality and performance are immediately evident. This in itself justifies the high price tag for me and these products are going to be a future staple for my skincare regime!
