I received this as part of a trial organised by BzzAgent testing ultraDEX products and overall I have a mixed view of the products I tested.

Daily Oral Rinse

Alcohol free rinse, safe for daily use. The iQ+ ActiveOxi Technology® is clinically proven to:

•Instantly eliminate odour-causing compounds (VSC) and deliver 12 hours fresh breath.
•Whiten teeth within 14 days by gently lifting organic stains to reveal their true brightness. Excellent for use as part of a whitening maintenance programme.
•Highly effective anti-bacterial action. Kills the harmful bacteria that can cause tooth decay, gum problems and plaque.
•Contains fluoride* (230ppm) to help strengthen teeth.
• Free from colouring and available either preflavoured with mint or as original unflavoured (comes with a separate mint sachet to suit personal taste).

I've been using this for about five days and so far I like it a lot. I haven't tried it with the flavouring yet and the texture (or maybe density) of the mouthwash takes a little getting used to - somehow it feels heavier in your mouth. I really like the design of the bottle and bottle cap; unlike any other mouthwash I've used this one actually seals properly and doesn't leak.

Now I've finished the trial this one I really liked, particularlythe fact that it starts off as having no flavour but you can add some if you'd prefer. I used it without adding the mint flavour and much preferred it to my usual mouthwash (Oral-B). It was so much less harsh but still did a great job of helping to keep my mouth andteeth clean. Strangely the lack of taste made me think it was harder to swish around in my mouth at first (no idea why) but I got used to it after a while. Another great thing aboutthe product is the bottle (or at least the bottle cap); it's very well made and just doesn't leak even when carried around in a wash bag. Definitely pricy enough to make you wonder but a good product.

 Low-abrasion Toothpaste

Sulphate free, low-abrasion toothpaste. The iQ+ ActiveOxi Technology® is clinically proven to:

•Instantly eliminate odour-causing compounds (VSC) and deliver 12 hours fresh breath.
•Whiten teeth within 14 days by gently lifting organic stains to reveal their true brightness. Excellent for use as part of a whitening maintenance programme.
•Highly effective anti-bacterial action. Kills the harmful bacteria that can cause tooth decay, gum problems and plaque.
•Contains fluoride* (1000ppm) to help strengthen teeth.
•Kind to tooth enamel - Low RDA* of 53 (Relative Dentin Abrasivity)
•Non-foaming and free from SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate)
•Fresh mint taste

The toothpaste is interesting as it doesn't foam which so far seems to polarise the people who have tried it. I rather like it and I think it works well.

This one was okay rather than great. I usually use Oral-B and in comparison the ultraDEX toothpaste is milder and less startling in the mouth but doesn't seem to clean as well (this maybe simply that it doesn't foam and so you don't feel that it cleans as well) and it definitely doesn't seem to leave a long lasting clean feeling in the mouth. I know this is very subjective but others in my family tested it during the trial and they said the same. It did have a quite nice lightening impact on my teeth; certainly not dramatic but nice to see. It definitely has the taste and feel of having your teeth cleaned at the dentist but at the price I don't think it's as effective as it should be.

Okay so I've been using them for a couple of weeks as part of a trial organised by BzzAgen:I'm afraid I've not taken great care of my teeth over the last fifty years (although I'm really trying hard now!) and so I have different size gaps between my teeth and so I normally use two different interdent brush sizes (3 and 5mm). With ultraDex interdental brushes I can now use the same one and it works really really well.

At first it was a strange feeling to use them as they are rubbery rather than the slightly harsh brush of my old ones but once you've used them for a while you don't notice this and instead you just realise how easy they are to use and how effective they are.

I don't use any similar products so to be honest I had nothing to compare it to so I decided to take it with me on a recent business trip to see if I would use it and what it was like. It's easy enough to use but I after cleaning my teeth properly in the morning and then using mouthwash I really didn't feel any need to add the spray to my routine.
