I really like different means for moisturizing and nourishing my dry skin so I gave a try with an Yves Rocher Beautifying Dry Oil last April. It is contained in a light-weight plastic bottle with a dispenser (the trick is not to squeeze it too hard unless you wand a good handful of the oil). With time, the bottle looses its appeal (the stickers with product description tend to swell up with air and peel off). The oil itself is moderately 'oily', if I may say. It is absorbed by the skin within minutes and is safe to be applied any time of the day (it does not stain clothes). It indeed improves the condition of the skin, even the driest paches look much better, suppler, well-groomed, however the effect is not lasting (not buildable). It holds if the oil is used on a permanent basis. Nevertheless, all the oil’s benefits for me were counterbalanced by a single argument, namely, the smell. It is designed to be something oriental, I guess, but it is strong, cloying, and I always had impression that something has gone bad with the substance...The worst thing is the smell stays for a solid 1.5 hours and after using about half of the bottle I gave up on the oil.
