Makes feet smell minty fresh

It is a shame that Body Shop sell in China but they are working on the Chinese govt to stop animal testing on products for beauty. I like this foot product and as it is such good value it is hard to say no

User Reviews

Strongest points
* Not tested n animals
*Great fresh minty scent last ages
* fair price especially when on sale
* Readily available as Body Shops are everywhere
* cooling and refreshing on tired aching feet
* Not greasy and easily absorbed
* keeps my feet smelling minty fresh all day long
*Peppermint ssential oil from Norfolk in UK
Weakest points
* Questionable ethics re animal testing as they no longer have the leaping bunny symbol
* Many less natural sounding ingredients but writing is so small it is hard to make them all out
Summary
This is a good price foot lotion that I use regularly as it is so much cheaper than other more ethical and natural brands like Weleda which i love but for everyday use can get expensive.

I always stock up when they have their 50% off sale and so the price is very good then

Goes on smoothly, no time at all to absorb, works really well, you can stand the bottle on end to get the last bits out!
Weakest points
Bottle looks a bit dull, the smell isn't to everyone's taste!

The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion

User Reviews

Strongest points
This lovely smelling cream is a must during the hot weather we are currently experiencing, I tend to decant some and take it with me everyday, then when feet get hot and sore I can use it on the go. The packaging is simple yet effective, the cream is a lovely texture which cools and hydrates. It is a value for money product which is very effective. It also does not have the heavy smell that some foot lotions have and is a good companion to the foot spray from the body shop.
Weakest points
none
Summary
A cost effective remedy to use on the feet, particularly during hot weather, if you do not have a pool to cool down in, you can at least treat your feet with this product. I always take it on holiday with me whatever the weather, it is great for cooling sore feet while daytripping or on a longer break.

Cooling But Lacking In Moisture

This foot lotion was the first purchase I ever made from the cooling peppermint range. Generally I do not choose lotions as they are simply not moisturising enough on my skin but I opted for this product as I was dubious about using a thick product on my feet in case o9f greasy residue. The lotion is a thin consistency that contains peppermint extract to calm and sooth tired, aching and hot feet and legs as well as moisturising the skin. It absorbs easily into the skin without leaving a greasy residue and does have an instant cooling effect. Sadly the moisturisation is poor and it does little for reconditioning any dry skin on the feet. I used this product mainly on my legs and ankles during the summer as it is a much lighter consistency in comparison to the thick conditioning creams. If you prefer lighter lotions or do not suffer from excessive dry skin areas on the feet then this is an excellent buy but for those that need more intensive moisture this would be ineffective for you

User Reviews

cooling and refreshing

this lotion is great for massageing into warm, tired swollen feet.
The peppermint feels soo cooling and soothing on the feet and absorbs well to leave your feet feeling and smelling fresh and relieved.
A nice alternative to the foot gels that mainly cool the feet but dont offer any moisturisation
A great foot product :)
