I was sent this in a bundle, along with the 75 ml hand cream and 200 ml body balm. I've used Norwegian Formula hand creams in the past with good results, and the brand has a good reputation. This particular range markets itself as having "collagen boosting minerals" to help improve elasticity and suppleness. On reading the ingredient label it has edelweiss flower extract which is rated well for its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant qualities. Paula's Choice also rates it well for its ability to inhibit the enzymes in the skin that contribute to breakdown of its support structure. For minerals it has zinc, magnesium and copper. How effective these are when applied topically I suppose varies from user to user since most products can't penetrate much beyond the epidermis (very outer layer of skin).
The scent was a bit odd at first, but it doesn't linger. It does absorb well and as a body moisturiser, it performs well too. I'm not sure about the elasticity bit. I think perhaps if you have mature skin, like I do, it may not quite come up to scratch. Like your face, the skin on your body starts to loose tone with age. Good hydration, exercise and regular use of a good quality body moisturiser definitely helps. I think it may be too much to expect a product like this to really get your skin back to taut look it would have had when you were younger. However, if you are under 40, you may find it does the job. I would recommend it as a really good quality hydrating lotion and leave the rest to individual results.
