I do like companies that make the effort to create more natural products that are environmentally friendly. I do have sensitive skin and so products with lots of chemicals so affect me if I use them too much. This product claims to be 99% natural which is pretty good in my view.
This shower gel is a pale pinkish colour sort of mother of pearl looking and it is a good thick gel but not so thick that it is hard to get out of the pull up top and squeeze out. It smells wonderful and I could sit ans sniff it all day long, it smells of rose but in a really natural sort of way not old fashioned Aunt Mabel way.
I found that despite being natural this did lather up well and I either used it just with my hands and applied it all over y body or I used a net scrunchy scrubber thingie and gave my skin a good going over and both ways worked well.
I loved the way it smelled as I lathered it onto my skin and the scent got stronger when I wet it and lathered it up. I found I had to add a little wetness to the gel to spread it so that I didn't have to use too much to get a good wash and lather.
I have become very fond of rose scented products, I trust that it is not me getting older, but they seem to be much more natural and pleasant than I remember them being. I love the fact that this lasts quite well on my skin even after I have rinsed and dried myself. If I use it in my night bath I can smell it o me as I lie in bed.
I like using essential oils and rose is an anti depressant so while I lie in my bath I can benefit from the essential oil aroma to lift my mood as well as enjoying the lovely scent of rose.
This doesn't claim to be moisturising and it isn't especially so but I also didn't find it drying either. I tried to choose a lotion that blended with the rose to enhance the aroma after I had used this. One method I have found that works is to add some rose essential oil to some carrier oil and rub this over me while I am still wet and this traps the moisture in and makes the oil go further and doesn't leave my body feeling slippery in bed.
Rose oil is good for the skin as it helps it re build so hopefully I am getting that benefit too as I enjoy using this. It isn't the cheapest bath product around but it isn't a bad price for such a good quality natural product really compared to some around.
