This smells really strong and floral yet exotic. the bottle is cheap and tacky looking but the shower gel is a pretty pink and for the price you can't really knock it
Let me begin by saying that the scent of this gel is strong. Not unpleasant at all but strong!! I bought this on offer in the sale at Avon for £1.50 and as many of their gels have been good performers in the past I thought it was worth the shot for its bargain price! When I first received this product I was stunned at the terrible graphics on the bottle! For a name of Senses Mystique I found the graphic terribly confusing. There is a picture of the Eiffel Tower and a street lamp from London I assume?? Anyway the graphics did nothing for first impressions and I worried that the quality of the product would be mirrored by the poor packaging.
The gel is a dusky pink colour and immediately when you dispense it onto your bath lily your get quite a strong fragrance! On the back of the bottle this is described as rose and jasmine. I can smell the predominant rose more than the jasmine but overall it is a pleasant mix but very strong! The scent lingers on your skin and in the bathroom after bathing for some time. I mainly used this gel at night as it would have a tendency to clash with your fragrance. I was pleasantly surprised that you only need a small amount of gel for a good lather and after rinsing away my skin actually felt soft and not at all dry or tight.
All in all this is a lovely gel that may not be suited to sensitive noses. If you can ignore the terrible bottle graphics there is a very pleasant affective product inside
