I really love Crabtree and Evelyn products and I picked up this hand cream in a garden centre sale recently. This hand therapy cream has a lovely hick texture and contains softening ingredients of macadamia nut oil, shea butter and honey. It also contains ceramides, hyaluronic acid and willow-bark extract to nourish and soften the hands. The fragrance is very subtle and you can definitely detect lemon and herbs. I cannot smell the hint of honey but this is no matter as I adore the scent anyway. You only need a small amount of cream as it is highly concentrated and it is absorbed by the hands beautifully. It does leave a dewy sheen on the skin but there is no trace of greasiness or sticky residue. The moisturisation lasts for hours without the need for re-application. It reconditions and softens even the driest hands immediately.
I love the traditional style sage green aluminium tube packaging indicative to the product inside. The tube is recyclable and a great design to ensure you can remove every last drop of product from the packaging.
Although this is not a heavy duty cream it certainly has powerful moisturizing effects and does not contain any parabens, lauryl sulfates, mineral oil or propylene glycol so your skin suffers no irritation or adverse effects.
